These efforts add up to and build our focused work in the fields of Urban Sanitation and Adolescents, apart from Democracy and Governance and in Capacity Building for partner organisations. This is achieved in several ways, among which an important approach is showcasing and amplifying our work with the key objectives of driving awareness, supporting donor engagement and increasing consumption of our knowledge products. Creating and maintaining a strong, effective pipeline of communications effort is hence of utmost importance. Job Summary: The Communications Team Lead will provide specialized support in driving Dasra’s communications and narrative building efforts in the fields of urban sanitation / adolescents. S/he be directly involved in the development and implementation of campaign plans and communication strategies under the guidance of the reporting Manager. The individual will also work with external stakeholders to further Dasra’s campaign and communications goals. The role also requires the individual to manage resources at an Analyst/Associate level as required. Both individuals will be collectively responsible for driving and executing the Brand Management, Content Production, Social Media and Digital Marketing initiatives for various campaign / communication requirements for diverse fields at Dasra and its various teams. Job Requirements: The individual should possess a strong understanding of and demonstrated success in Brand Management and/or Marketing, Microsoft Office tools, excellent written and conversation skills, ability to execute work in diverse team sizes and solution-oriented thinking. Knowledge of Digital Marketing and social media tactics to support PR strategies is a necessary skill. Experience in managing video projects is a plus. Being enthusiastic, agile, self-motivated, and driven with a genuine interest in the development sector, is an added bonus as we work in a dynamic and highly networked organization structure. Roles and Responsibilities: § Creative Strategy: Contribute towards building creative strategies required to deliver on project outcomes. § Project Delivery: Work with teammates to implement and execute effective campaign and communication plans and strategies § Stakeholder Management: Maintain active liaison with key stakeholders in specific campaign issue(s). § Project Management Support: Support with creating project reports and proposals as well as monitor budgets and grants with all stakeholders. Drive end-to-end project management for specific projects and workstreams. § Research: Stay abreast of issues. Conduct research and investigations to understand latest happenings in the fields as well as in the domain of communications for impact to be able to create effective strategies. Research and analyze a wide range of specialized material on campaign issues and strategies. May be required to do media work. Desired Skills and Experience: § 6-8 years of professional experience in in related development sector projects § Familiarity with on-ground activation for brands (either from Advt Agency or Brand Mgmt background) § Strong strategic, research and analytical abilities; § Rural marketing and advertising familiarity; § Attention to detail and able to manage to a program plan § Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget; § Willing to travel, especially to monitor and build relationships and execution; § Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; § Digitally savvy; § Commitment to, and demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team; § Ability to work unsupervised, in a rapidly changing, high-pressure environment; § Ability to function effectively under public scrutiny;
