This position is for Electrification Plant to be based in Pune/Chakan. Design, develop and set-up new assembly line including end of line testers and tooling for motors and inverters manufacturing as per product requirements and adhering to safety standards. Design and implement processes to achieve required quality and cycle time, providing technical support to maintain and improve the efficiency and productivity levels Resolve manufacturing problems related to the process and productivity. Follow up, improve and monitor metrics or capacity measures, such as Yield, Scrap, Productivity, Efficiency. Determine the man-load for the manufacturing lines and provide the equipment, machine and tools required on demand. Prepare shop-floor layout and support installation of equipment, certify safety regulations and specifics for each asset Provide training and coordination to the engineering assistants/co-op assigned to the manufacturing lines. Design manufacturing instruction and develop new process, work methods and control plans Develop APQP Documents, perform PFMEA Ensure industrialization and cost reduction for manufacturing purposes Owner of Production Bill of Material (PBOM) Follow the assembly of the first prototypes and make recommendations following the observations (NPI) Provide engineering technical support for prototypes and production; Process non-conformities in production / inspection and participate in the processing of customer returns Participate in the development and monitoring of process AMDECs and other product quality documents Lead the process improvement and optimization, problem solving and failure analysis exercises Participate in various continuous improvement projects. Support purchase process through SAP/Oracle Support Lean manufacturing Prepare Capex, Manpower & Conversion cost for business proposals TS - 16949 system requirements Drive of 5S & TPM and implementation Support in introduction of new technology for upgrades/productivity improvements/cost, etc. Job Requirements: Specific Skills / Personal Attributes: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical /Mechatronics 15-18 years of experience require Customer service orientation Demonstrated ability for interpersonal relationships Problem solving ability Knowledge of MatLab English communication (spoken & written) should be adequate to converse at international level Ability to travel (50% of the time) Must-have direct hands-on experience going through at least 1 complete cycle from new product introduction to manufacturing process equipment hand-off to Production and Maintenance Experience in complex electro-mechanical system design, GD&Ts from concept to detailing Knowledge of PLCs and process automation Knowledgeable with process characterization and validation using statistical tools Knowledge of 3D software Expertise in analysis and problem solving Team spirit and collaboration Ability to work in a changing and growing environment Interpretation of design knowledge Knowledge SPC (Statistical Process Control) and Lean Manufacturing Knowledge of project management and problem-solving techniques Expertise in Motors and inverters Knowledge of problem solving toolsThrough in design skill for equipment, assembly line, fixtures & tooling Hands on experience for setting up a green filed venture Leadership experience in team management Experience Requirements: 10+ Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree
