Residential products include air cleaners, dehumidifiers, and air conditioners; industrial products range from infrared ceramic space heaters to marine vessel air conditioners. Daikin also has chemicals (fluorocarbons, surfactants, and mold-release agents), oil hydraulics, and defense divisions; combined, they account for close to 15% of revenues. The company's acquisition of O.Y.L. Industries made it the #1 air conditioning maker after Carrier.
