About the role: DWS is seeking quality focused, enthusiastic Splunk Architect for a 6 month contract to build and support a Splunk Platform for our tier 1 client. DWS are looking for a Splunk Architect who has broad technical experience across application development and infrastructure gained in multiple and diverse business domains. The Splunk Architect will work as part of a team, with primary responsibility for technical oversight, they will also help solve complex issues arising during project delivery. The Splunk Architect will build and support the core platform Set-up and configure Splunk indexer and search-head clusters In-depth understanding of Spunk’s workload manager and SmartStore capabilities Perform data on-boarding leveraging Splunk universal forwarders Troubleshoot platform related issues In-depth understanding of Platform Sizing and Scaling across all Splunk platform components (search head, indexer, cluster master, deployer, deployment manager, heavyweight forwarder) Skills and Experience Excellent knowledge of Splunk Excellent analytical skills and proven track record of solving difficult problems Excellent communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing Ready for a new challenge?
