Unlike traditional consulting firms, we work side by side with our clients to implement and operationalize tailor-made strategies and build capabilities that sustain improvements over the long term Job Title: Associate Director/ Principal Location: UAE / KSA As a Principal, you will manage the business with a focus on delivering excellence to new and existing clients at the C-suite level, achieve annual revenue targets and implement strategies for growth. You will develop and engage a team of Managers and Consultants with a strong focus on capability development and a high-performance work culture. You will be part of a growing Middle Eastern leadership team and of the extended global leadership team. You will have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex transformation programs, as well as generating a sizeable and consistent client base to ensure contribution to the continued growth trajectory of DSS. You will drive the direction of one or multiple co-current engagements and effectively manage the team and long-term relationship with clients to deliver the scope of work. Responsibilities: Proven, trusted advisor and thought partner at Executive level to generate, maintain and continually grow a diversified engagement pipeline within DSS core client base industries Manage the execution of multiple co-current complex consulting engagements to ensure the project and deliverables meet or exceed the client’s requirements and expectations, delivering superior value to clients. Manage and enhance relationship with clients, to position DSS as a trusted partner Identify and pursue additional business opportunities. Work with the other Principals / Directors in developing new business leads & opportunities to grow the business Contribute to building the strategic direction of the region to deliver the global objectives; and take an active leadership role in delivering the strategic plan in the region Participate and contribute to functional and/or industry networks to develop and share best practice Mentor / coach junior colleagues to support their development within the organization. Qualifications / Experience: BS Engineering or equivalent plus an MBA from a leading university is preferred 8+ years working with a leading management consulting firm, ideally combined with 5+ years working in line management in industries linked with our core client base (e.g. oil and gas, Petrochemical, utilities, transportation and/or heavy manufacturing sectors) Proven experience in leading complex business / operations transformation programs characterized by both a high change management component and delivering rapid, step change sustainable results across multiple workstreams Proven track record of generating and maintaining a consistent client base, ideally in the Middle Eastern region, to support a consulting sub-team below you Strong leadership skills and proven track record in building teams Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with ability to extensively interact and be a though leader at the Executive level Fluency in both written and spoken English.
