Do you have a continues improvement mindset and want to foster quality thinking on our site? Then start your career as QA Manager (m/f/d) at DSM in Sisseln. The Challenge DSM Nutritional Products (DNP) branch site Sisseln is the largest and most complex DSM site and encompasses 11 plants as well as close to 1000 employees. This site produces feed ingredients, food ingredients, active pharmaceutical ingredients and sterile drugs according to US, European, Swiss and Japanese GMP guidelines. Sisseln M&T is audited by about 25 customers per year and performs audits at about 15 suppliers. An increasing part of our products are being registered at the Food & Drug Administration with Drug Master File. Compliance with a broad spectrum of company/ national / international guidelines and regulations including SHE is also necessary. At least US, Europe and Japanese Pharmacopoeia and regulations must be fulfilled. The number and types of products as well as the diversity of manufacturing processes and assigned special tasks results in a great complexity (60+ products, 10+ production departments, 5+ lab units) The Position Act as Responsible Person according to Swiss 812.212.1 Medicinal Products Licensing Ordinance (MPLO) for Pharma API/ bulk Take responsibility to release or NOT-release of raw materials and end products Assurance, maintenance and sustainable compliance of all GMP, legal and quality aspects regarding GMP activities such as but not limited to lot disposition, deviations, complaints, changes, quality agreements product quality review, compendial compliance Approve and release quality-related documents such as specifications, manufacturing instructions and validation documents Work with manufacturing, quality control, regulatory affairs, customer service, supply chain and other cross function stakeholders to ensure quality standard Support the quality culture change to ensure all Quality requirements are implemented The Ideal Academic background, preferably master or equivalent education in chemistry, pharmacy or engineering Minimum 5 years’ experience in a quality-related area in a regulated environment (GMP or ISO), ideally with experience and responsibilities of qualified person Knowledge of chemical production processes, equipment and analytical techniques Analytical and management skills to solve quality issues Good communication and social skills combined with a strong ability to work effectively in a team Very good command of German and English The Reward Working for DSM means the opportunity to really contribute to improve people’s lives and solving the challenges of today’s world.
