Position Announcement Position: Content Marketing Specialist Department: Marketing Reports To: Co-President Salary grade: Entry Level FLSA Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt Location: San Antonio Description The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for expanding our brand awareness and online presence utilizing inbound marketing strategies, including social media, blogs, and lead generation. The ideal candidate is a creative, think-outside-the-box type, preferably with a strong writing background. You will develop engaging content to attract and retain customers, and stay up-to-date on trends and new technologies. Responsibilities Design and implement content marketing strategies and set short-term goals Undertake content marketing initiatives that align with business goals Collaborate with teams to produce relevant, high-quality content Create and manage editorial calendar and ensure all deadlines are met Push engaging content consistently, with a heavy focus on video production Write, edit, proofread, and update content Optimize content bearing in mind SEO best practices and Google Analytics Analyze web traffic analytics to determine content engagement levels Share varied content across multiple channels ensuring a strong web presence (social media posts, blogs, video, e-books, whitepapers, etc) Collaborate with sales team to acquire customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement and position company as a thought leader in the industry Research and stay current on product and industry news in support of becoming an industry content expert Update and maintain company website as needed Experience & Required Skills Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Indesign) Working knowledge of Hubspot and Wordpress Experience with SEO and web analytics Experience with various social media platforms (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube) Project management skills and high attention to detail Strong oral and written communication Graphic design skills that support creation of engaging content Provide timely, polite, and efficient service and reflect a positive Company image Ability to work with minimal direction Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to occasionally stand, stoop, bend, and kneel Manual dexterity to use hands and fingers to handle, control computer and telephone keyboard Visual acuity to read and create printed and electronic documents and images Special Requirements None.
