The Role… This vacancy is within the DFDS team based out of Immingham Seaways. This key function of this role will be to deliver the highest level of customer service standards through understanding customers’ requirements, giving clear and timely communication and sourcing the best haulage solutions to fulfil their needs. Key Responsibilities… Day to day communication with existing customers ensuring contracts are managed to the highest standard. Check and acknowledge all call offs. Update systems including stock and transport management systems. Create accurate documentation so that all deliveries can be processed and transported as per customers’ requirements Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best delivery prices Monitor the status of each delivery and keep customers informed. Liaise between the suppliers and customers regarding any complaints or queries. Keep accurate records so that invoices, reports and statistical information can be produced.
