Summary As a Procurement Engineer you will take care of subcontractors and be responsible for the procurement of our offshore installation activities. You will work in a multi-disciplinary project team (including design engineers/manager, tender engineer/managers, contracts manager, technical experts, fabrication managers). Together, we will help DEME Offshore perform the projects and to build a sustainable future. Your responsibilities support the development of cables and accessories supply packages for EPCI cable tenders and support the drafting and negotiation of supply contracts; comply RFQ packages and send it to suppliers; follow up tenders from suppliers (price, contractual & technical aspects, planning, QA/HSE aspects, …); review suppliers' offers and prepare comparison overviews; prepare clarifications / negotiations with suppliers; negotiate/finalize contracts with suppliers together with project team and connect with contractual and technical colleagues where required; follow up on feedback from contracted suppliers, including opportunities/risks, suppliers performance on capacity, quality, total cost, security of supply and planning. Your profile Bachelor or Master degree in engineering; ability to work in multiple projects at the same time; good commercial and negotiation skills; strong technical overall knowledge; experience / affinity in a similar role, preferable in the Oil&Gas or Renewable Energy industry; flexible attitude and commitment with projects’ schedules; fluent in verbal and written English; willing to work in the DEME office in Luxembourg and occasionally abroad.
