The role: To supervise the Production Operatives in delivering a right first-time service to ensure cost per unit targets are achieved and ensuring a smooth running and transition between production lines as required under the direction of the Senior Line Leader. Hours: 06.00 - 14.00 Key responsibilities as our Line Leader - Repack include: Responsible for the H&S and Quality of all executions on production lines which are being overseen Ensuring that all operatives under their supervision always follow all appropriate SOP requirements, any deviations are to be recorded and reported to the Management where appropriate All operatives under their supervision are trained in full as per SOP and operational requirements and completing training where necessary including refresher training Ensuring that all lines are setup 15 minutes prior to commencement of Production Operatives shifts and closed down at the end of shift as per SOP requirements Monitoring and control of flow through production process completing executions into the central inventory as required following the production plan Job setup and compliance to capturing cost per unit requirements prior to commencement of all jobs and communicating these to all operatives under their supervision Performing hourly checks of all activities overseen (KPI data) and recording checks as per method and customer requirements. Including a controlled handover of lines through shift change periods/breaks Performing hourly (or regular) checks ensuring that agreed cost per unit measures are being achieved and any deviation from targets being recorded and addressed. Ensure all transactions are recorded using company systems (SFDC) Ensure all activities relating to medicines and medical devices are in accordance with Good Distribution Practice of medicinal products Accountable for the completion of all relevant documentation to support successful execution of production works Ensuring that material levels are monitored, and records maintained via the WMS as necessary Checking the goods that have arrived both in terms of product type and quantity and ensuring paperwork matches Labelling pallets with a unique pre-printed identification number Receipting stock into the WMS via a hand-held scanner Our ideal Line Leader - Repack: Educated to a minimum of GCSE in Maths and English At least Intermediate ability in computer literacy including Excel Previous experience of working in a busy warehouse environment Good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills Ability to pay strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy High degree of self-motivation with strong time management skills and the ability to work in a team Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Flexible and Adaptable to change Able to accurately follow instructions whilst applying initiative where appropriate to ensure the executions are completed Working knowledge of Quality and Standard Operating Procedures Working knowledge of WMS Click ‘Apply’ now to become our Line Leader - Repack.
