The Role: For our Al Haramain Highspeed Railway Project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, we are seeking a Workshop Engineer Supervision (m/f/d). Your tasks would be as follows: Responsibilities Managing site supervision and Design Review activities with support from Experts in Germany. Controlling the Contractor’s implementation of Depots & Workshops as per design Coordinating between the on-site team, the customer and the Design Team which is based in Spain/KSA Controlling quality and ensuring targets are achieved according to the expectations, e.g. submission dates Participation in Depot & Workshop team meetings, general meetings on-site in Jeddah, in discussion sessions and telephone conferences Close co-operation with employer and JV Partner for civil works supervision Control of the contractual compliance construction contract conditions Preparing guidelines for Depot & Workshop supervision in Jeddah Monitor the Internal and external interfaces related to Depot & Workshop Pre-inspection of civil works to ensure the structure is fit for the installation of equipment. Systemizing the supervision control, to confirm compliance of executed works Review and approve equipment installation procedures Review and ensure that the proposed work schedule by the contractor is realistic and achievable Non Conformance Control – Risk Register Management Leading / assisting meetings whenever it is necessary Ensuring and Managing required resources for supervision activities Ensuring delivery of review report on time Qualifications University degree (B. Sc. or M.Sc.) in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in mechanical engineering and processing At least 15 years' professional experiences as railway engineer, 10 years´ experience in Depot & Workshop assignments Experience in highspeed railway projects Good knowledge of railway rolling stock maintenance International working experience required DB Engineering & Consulting Excellent English skills Relevant IT-Skills International driving license is compulsory Willingness to relocate to Saudi-Arabia at least for one year Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
