Onsite parking and close to public transport Beautiful beachside location Flexible working arrangements to suit working parents About Curtin Heritage Living Curtin Heritage Living is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that has been providing a range of services to older members of the western suburbs for over 40 years. We are currently undergoing significant expansion, including the redevelopment of our iconic site on the beach in Cottesloe. About the role You work with our management, administration and service teams to actively promote our services, undertake facility tours, coordinate admissions and advocate for residents and their families in the initial months after admission. You will work from our homes in Cottesloe and Mosman Park, and will also assist in our redevelopment display suite on Napoleon Street in Cottesloe. You will have a passion for caring for older people and prior experience in a sales or customer service role. Prior experience working in aged care is desirable but not essential. The role is part time (3-days per week). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of residents and their families. Key responsibilities will include: Communicating with prospective residents and their loved ones Undertaking tours of our Cottesloe and Mosman Park residential care homes Assisting with the placement of residents in our homes when there is a vacancy Assisting residents to move into their new home Meeting with new residents and their families on a regular basis to ensure they have settled into their new home Liaison with referral sources including hospitals, assessment teams and referral agencies Maintaining a database of prospective residents Contribution to the advertising and marketing program Assisting with retirement village display suite events Skills and experience A passion for working with older people and a customer focused attitude. Capacity to meet the values and work towards the vision of the organisation. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated experience working in a sales, marketing or customer service role. Computer literacy and well-developed written skills. National police clearance (current within 3-years). Current Western Australian drivers’ licence.
