PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist scientists with activities of oncology pharmacology research: handling of patient derived xenografts (PDX), mouse tumor homografts, tumor cell lines, organoids, bio-banking, establishing, validating & maintaining PDX models. Contribute to project process with scientific discipline through research Assist with the planning and executing outsourced cancer pharmacology studies to evaluate the activities of oncology drug candidates with minor supervision Collect, analyze, record, summarize data, and interpret results Maintain relevant laboratory supplies and equipment as needed Help scientists prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses Manipulating and handling tumor bearing mice. Engrafting, measuring, and harvesting, xenograft and homograft tumors. Ear tagging, shaving, and recording body weights of mice. Performing routine dosing via PO, IP, IV, IM & SQ routes. Adherence to Quality System. Reviewing SOPs and ensuring all SOPs and training documents are up to date. Logging of Training documents. Logging of all equipment related documents in an organized manner. EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Biology or similar field Requires 1 year of related laboratory experience including: Experience in in vivo pharmacology techniques, tissue / cell culture techniques and general molecular and cell biology, virology techniques including ELISA, Immunoblot, Western Blot, Transfection and PCR. Experience with GraphPad Prism and bio-banking software. Experience with GLP/ ISO9001 Comfortable working in a laboratory animal research environment Demonstrated sense of integrity and confidentiality Planning, organizational skills and flexibility in a reactive environment Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for own work Ability to follow standard operating procedures, observe safety and security procedures Able to troubleshoot effectively and solve problems with supervision Job Type: Full-time Education: Bachelor's (Required) Work authorization: United States (Required) Work Location: One location
