We are looking for an experienced Sales Planner to join our growing media sales operations team. The primary responsibilities of the Sales Planner will be to structure and create campaign proposals for our digital advertising clients and their agencies. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively in both an analytical and creative capacity. The position will report to the Director of Media Sales, and is an individual contributor role. Responsibilities Support Cricbuzz.com's direct advertising sales team by building campaign proposals in response to advertiser or agency RFPs and help manage site inventory for our media units. Build comprehensive media plans, pulling available inventory and audience research and create compelling proposals which emphasize the value of Cricbuzz.com's media offerings in relation to campaign objectives and strategies. Work with Ad Ops team to determine inventory levels and traffic patterns in order to discuss pricing and allocation. Assist members of the sales team to present campaign reporting data to clients in a compelling format. Requirements Ability to quickly and effectively build excel-based media plans in both various agency formats. Excellent PowerPoint skills, including screen grabs, cropping, etc. Photoshop skills a plus. Strong Excel formatting skills, including an understanding of equations for summing impressions and calculating eCPMs and SOVs. Good understanding of technologies and technical aspects used in digital advertising and reporting, various targeting methodologies, as well as site- and third-party serving approaches. Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines concurrently, and stay flexible and professional under pressure. Clear understanding of time-sensitivity around due dates of proposals. Knowledge of research tools used by media planners and buyers (Nielsen @Plan and NetView) is a plus. Three years in a digital ad sales planning role, and experience with at least one ad server Doubleclick / DFP, 24/7, etc.
