Overview: Crestline Hotels & Resorts is currently hiring Accounting Interns to join our team for the summer of 2020. This person will receive exposure to several areas of the accounting department including by working on assigned projects and providing day-to-day support. This position is ideal for those who are eager to learn, passionate about numbers, and interested in hospitality. Responsibilities: The intern will rotate through the different functions of accounting, which includes: accounts payable, payroll, corporate accounting, treasury, finance, and centralized accounting. Some of the duties include: Assist with processing expense reports and invoices Compile financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and prepare journal entries Assist with reconciling timesheets Research routing numbers Support with month end closing for hotel properties Participate in ad hoc projects, assignments, and activities Qualifications: College student majoring in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong Attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong background in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Ability to work as part of a team and independently EEO/AA Employer Disclosure:Crestline Hotels & Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
