The successful candidate will work in a small, dynamic team, reporting directly to the Senior IT Manager. The IT Technician will be “hands on” dealing with the full spectrum of user computer IT issues and assist the Senior IT Manager with all major IT projects within the company. The Person Has a 3rd level qualification in IT or with IT as a major component A minimum 3 years post grad experience in an IT Technician/IT Engineer role Experience of supporting MS Desktop and MS Server operations Experience of supporting MS Office Applications and Office 365 Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting Windows7 & Windows10 Experience of server virtualisation (Hyper-V) Working knowledge of MS Server 2008 2012 2016 Working knowledge of network security, IT security Ability to work within a team but also work on their own initiative Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail is essential in all aspects of the position Duties & Responsibilities Providing support to end users both in person and by telephone Logging / updating IT support requests through Helpdesk Maintain IT Department Documentation Support & admin on Windows server 2008 2012 2016 and in a virtual environment Support Group Printers and Print Server Support and troubleshoot Windows7 & Windows10 Hardware/Software support, setup & installation Wan/Lan and WiFi network configuration and support Maintain Active Directory Support remote access applications Job Type: Full-time Salary: £20,000.00 to £30,000.00 /year Experience: Information Technology: 2 years (Required) Flexible Working Options Available: Not offered
