A new electric bike for urban riders. With electric bikes traditionally viewed as expensive, cumbersome and poorly designed, we are reinventing the category by blending design elegance with affordability and technology that connects owners to their bikes through a mobile app, featuring a secure key, live stats, and GPS tracking. Founded in 2017 by start-up entrepreneurs Adrien Roose, Karim Slaoui and Tanguy Goretti, we have recently received over €10 million in funding and our team is rapidly expanding both in Belgium and EU wide. About the role that You'll be doing: We’re looking for creative Design Engineers to join us here at Cowboy to help us achieve our ambitious vision; to change urban mobility through mass production of high-tech, yet affordable electric bicycles. Partnering with our current engineers, you will create the designs of our future bike systems, components and accessories. Creating innovative solutions for future generation of bikes. Validating concepts and assemblies through rapid prototyping techniques like 3D printing. Participating in prototype assembly and proposing design improvement. Defining detailed 3D and 2D drawings of e-bike components. Analyzing complex assemblies and defining critical tolerances. Participating in all stages of product development, from initial idea until the mass production handover stage. Requirements Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial) with 2-3 years of experience. Fluency with CAD (ideally Creo Parametric). Good understanding of a wide range of manufacturing processes (extrusion, forging, casting, stamping, hydro-forming, milling, injection molding). Good understanding of tolerancing of mechanical assemblies.
