The Plan Management Division is looking for an individual to lead the collaboration with other departments, cross-country organizations, and health plans to improve the level of pharmaceutical and health services provided through Covered California. Desirable Qualifications: Possession of a PharmD and licensed pharmacist in the State of California. Possession of a Master’s of Public Health (MPH) or equivalent degree Knowledgeable of health care quality improvement principles and practices in order to establish efficient and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services Knowledgeable in pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology in order to understand literature and/or make recommendations Experienced in pharmaceutical contracting including work with pharmacy benefit managers Demonstrated experience in advising key internal and external stakeholders including executive-level leadership, Board of Directors, and Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) Experience in quality data management and variation analysis specific to pharmacy utilization by Qualified Health Plan (QHPs) Administrative experience, including, but not limited to, the ability to prepare policy development and implementation, review laws and regulations and impact to Covered California’s pharmacy benefits Exemplary communication skills, with proven experience in presenting, collaborating, and influencing all members of the organization Employee Benefits: Covered California provides incredible benefits for our employees, including healthcare, retirement and savings, work life services, leave benefits, and work life balance.
