This role includes sourcing and developing new supply-side partnerships, working with underwriters to develop new products, and developing and executing a strategy for regional expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive insurance experience, be sales and partnerships driven, and have strong legal and/or regulatory set up experience. This is an opportunity to be a key member of the global CG Partnerships team, driving change across the insurance industry globally. Contribute towards developing and executing local strategies for optimal operational and regulatory set-up, including working with relevant regulators and legal partners to launch new products Work with internal and external stakeholders to design and bring new products to market Leverage existing relationships to establish a deep and trusted regional network of underwriters across Philippines Manage existing relationships and accounts with underwriters, including producing reports and business reviews Grow the Cover Genius brand through representation at industry events and broader networking What does a suitable profile look like? Extensive knowledge of the insurance industry landscape in Philippines Highly desirable that candidate has direct experience working in micro-insurance products, such as warranties, product, gadget or parcel insurance Demonstrable insurance legal knowledge and skillset and/or experience in regulatory set up Ability to leverage existing local insurance network and strong commercial mindset Strategy development and execution, with a proven capability and passion to work collaboratively in cross functional teams in the design, pursuit and successful execution of key strategic goals First class communication skills, able to present, negotiate and influence at C-level Ability to think laterally and explore creative solutions in deal negotiation and structuring and customer solution design Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills Appetite and enthusiasm for working as part of a small collegiate team that is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and supporting each other A proactive bias to action, and drive to achieve results Collaborative and curious mindset, open to exploring new ways of doing things Why Cover Genius?
