The company aims to grow fast in Southeast Asia and be the #1 co-living operator in the region.Check us out at www.coveliving.co Job Title: Managing Director, Jakarta Job Type: Full Time Start Date: ASAP Reports To: CEO Role Purpose: We are looking to bring in a highly seasoned individual to join as Managing Director in Jakarta who would launch and grow the business across Indonesia. Responsibilities: Strategy: Define and implement COVE strategy locally, lead the business and manage the local team to reach monthly and quarterly targets Business Development: Drive and grow COVE supply acquisition in Indonesia (sourcing, opportunity assessment and underwriting, pitching and negotiation) Operations Management: Coordinate our property management efforts to ensure high tenant satisfaction and provide tenant support Marketing and tenant acquisition: Develop and implement an efficient marketing and sales strategy to increase COVE brand awareness and optimize tenant acquisition cost Strategic Partnerships: Build local partnerships (with real estate partners, and corporate tenants) to ensure consistent business growth Financial control: Budget, forecast and align business needs with control of operating expenses Requirements University graduate from a reputable university, Master’s degree is a plus but not a must Previous successful experience in management consulting, M&A or fast pace start-up environment Previous experience and knowledge in the local real estate in a real plus Minimum of 5 years’ experience Experienced in managing large teams and P&L Core Skills/Competencies Strong entrepreneurial skills Willingness to get into the weeds in growing a business from the ground up and ideally doing so before in a startup environment. Proven track record in chasing leads and closing partnerships Strategic thinker, able to see the big picture and achieve goals by breaking down the process and making suggestions on how to improve the process Good leadership skill, team player and ability to perform under pressure Proactive, flexible and adaptable to work in a high paced growth environment Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities with strong organizational skills What’s in it for You: Working for COVE gives you the opportunity to join an exciting young start-up incubated through Antler.co.
