Job no: 982278 Work type: Full-Time Location: Melbourne - CBD & Inner Categories: Merchandise The Role Exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join the Womenswear team at Country Road. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for supporting the management of suppliers, purchasing and production planning. Key Responsibilities Tracking the arrival of Pre-Production samples in conjunction with the Design and Tech teams for commentary and sign off Item maintenance and data entry into MR & RETEK systems for allocated vendors in line with company timetable Work closely with the Production Manager review new styling and negotiate with vendors for most competitive pricing Raising of purchase orders in RETEK on time and accurately Regular follow up and communication with suppliers on delivery schedules to ensure goods are delivered on time Dealing with suppliers on a range of issues including delivery dates, packing, shipping, consolidation of freight and the movement/processing of document Handle any queries with Suppliers and Stores in relation to pricing and barcode issues The Ideal Candidate has Demonstrated experience in a Production Coordinator or similar role Experience within Retail would be beneficial Experienced in managing competing priorities and deadline Excellent administration skills and attention to detail. RETEK experience would be highly regarded An ability to think innovatively, and enjoy looking for new and effective ways of working The ability to work collaboratively alongside a range of key stakeholders in order to achieve business outcomes Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation Why work for us?
