We are actively hiring for the following shifts: Day (6:30AM-3:00PM Mon-Fri), Afternoon (2:30PM - 11:00PM Mon-Fri), and Night (10:30PM - 7:00AM Sun-Thurs) To clean, sanitize and organize equipment and cleaning area on production floor. To perform set-up and to perform adjustments to equipment as needed. Key Accountabilities: Clean and organize cleaning area (empty garbage can at the end of shift) Clean and sanitize sink and equipment Properly store clean equipment in plastic bags and secure with a tie wrap with proper labeling. Maintain adequate stock of supplies Clean and replace tools after being used Prepare carts for set up of equipment Training of personnel when required Fill bulk Troubleshoot equipment related to production issues Writing and/or assisting in writing work instructions for equipment assembly and cleaning and sanitizing. Other duties assigned. Skills, Experience and Education Required: A two year diploma in a mechanical or electro-mechanical program A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in set-up of packaging/filling equipment including labellers, conveyors and case sealers preferably in a cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment Able to work independently in a fast paced environment and complete work on a timely basis Able to read, understand and interpret and apply technical writing, SOPs and instruction Takes initiative to continuously learn how to troubleshoot the equipment and to learn new skills.
