About the Role You will be a strong leader for the Cook Brothers team and trade partners, whilst working alongside the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager on Commercial build projects. Duties: Strategically planning and effectively managing the program Liaising with clients and stakeholders while maintaining a high service quality Mitigating Risks Reporting on Health & Safety, quality, cost control and budget Meeting Key Performance Objectives of the project Focus on quality Construction methodology and adherence to policies, procedures, relevant codes and acts for self and the team Sub-contractor management Read drawings and communicate relevant tasks Provide clear direction on tasks to be completed on a daily basis: who, what and when; making best use of time and resources at all times Coach and mentor your team to deliver high quality outcomes to support the delivery of on time, on budget and with high quality Lead and assist the team both on the tools and/or off the tools to meet project demands and timelines Attend and lead site meeting and lead toolkit meetings and take minutes of meeting Skills and Experience: Must have NZ/AUS Site Management Experience At least 4 years construction site management experience (fit-out experience preferred) Commercial build experience Strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate tough conversations Proven planning & program management experience Leadership of Health and Safety Excellent Communicator Detail Orientated Benefits Ongoing Training and Development Solid Career Progression Supportive and Positive team Good Work/Life Balance Positive and Social Company Culture Exciting Projects both Currently and in the Pipeline Competitive Salary + Laptop + Cell phone Company Vehicle + Fuel Card Health Insurance Free Access to EAP
