Job Summary Medical writers use scientific knowledge and writing skills to effectively and clearly communicate technical medical science information in writing. Medical Writers generally focus on either scientific medical writing, which includes medical studies, clinical trials and regulatory documents, or marketing medical writing, which includes news releases and advertising copy for a wider audience. Responsibilities and Duties assess data or products using their medical expertise, and quickly develop expertise in new areas as needed for their writing. conduct comprehensive literature searches to enhance their background understanding, evaluate and analyse the information they will be writing about. Screen and summarize literature for relevant clinical data. manuscript preparation for submission to various medical journals. Research Writing viz. protocol, case report form preparation etc. Ensure timely production of high-quality clinical evaluation reports and safety reports for devices across therapeutic areas. Review literature to elucidate the clinical problem and current treatment techniques. prepare abstracts, scientific exhibits, posters and verbal presentations. develop and write training materials, eLearning content, video scripts, magazine articles, and presentations to be used by a variety of audiences. Good communication skills. Qualifications and Skills CORE SKILLS Extensive knowledge of English grammar with a familiarity with a standard style guide Ability to communicate scientific or medical information in a clear and concise manner Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and the Internet Familiarity with the principles of clinical research Ability to interpret and present clinical data and other complex information REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: must have pursued masters or doctorate degree from a recognized institution must have the strong subject knowledge must be proficient in English with excellent editing skills proven record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals is preferred ** Job Type: Full-time Experience: Medical Writer: 3 years (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Location: Surat, Gujarat (Preferred) Benefits: Health insurance Provident fund (PF) Paid leaves / Leave encashment Other
