Job Summary Dear All, We Have A Position For - Electrical Engineer From Data Centers. Post - Electrical Engineer From Data Centers. Package - 12 to 15 LPA Location - Chennai Experience - 6 to 10 Year Note - Data Centers Experience Must Job Description The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the following: -  Work with internal teams to understand user requirements.  Participate in site selection reviews.  Critical Data Center equipment design including Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Switchgear, Transformers, Earthing and Fire Detection/Suppression systems  Provide direct hands-on support to the onsite operations team including failure event support and root cause analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting support, best practices, maintenance initiatives, and operating procedure review.  Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify the appropriate electrical equipment.  Interface with internal data center design teams, server hardware teams, environmental health and safety teams to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in the systems and equipment installed within the site(s).  Leveraging from your direct input into the resolution of operational issues, provide direct influence overall designs for the construction of new Data Centers as well as legacy Data Center upgrades.  Manage all power system issues during concept design, detailed design, procurement, bidding, manufacturing, delivery and installation on site. Identify and resolve issues raised by the cross-functional teams and various external stakeholders.  Generate scope of work for the equipment portions of major infrastructure upgrades based on project needs. Work with internal teams to update and document the configuration as it evolves.  Work with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with IEC, EU requirements and building codes.  Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases.  Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate the installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems  Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.  Travel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed Basic Qualification: -  6+ years of direct experience with the construction, operation, or maintenance of data centers.  Knowledge of local building codes and regulations including Life Safety.  In-depth understanding of both mechanical and electrical equipment/design related to data centers (Including but not limited to: uninterruptible power sources, diesel/gas turbine generators, electrical switch-gear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, automatic/static transfer switches, chillers [air-cooled and water-cooled], pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs, air economizers).
