Software Developer (Java) Location(S): Lisbon, Portugal or Bucharest, Romania 2 positions available in total – 1 in each location. Contract Length: 12 months ConSol Partners client are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with excellent technical capabilities to support their Service Delivery Team. Role Description Support the delivery manager to interact with the client and partner to understand the requirements. Involve in planning and implementation of the project, PoCs, live trials and live deployments. Involve and contribute in risk management (identification, evaluation, prioritization of the risk followed by planning risk actions to minimize the same). Work independently and in a team to process the data received using the developed application, develop solutions and provide the required analysis and reports to the customer. This required the use of front-end and back-end technologies. Work closely with development team to understand what additional functions are being developed and released which would help the customer. Collaborating with data and subject matter experts and its customer teams to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correctly use new data elements. Be aware of the latest industry trends/frameworks and be able to continuously update yourself with the same – Tech enthusiast Should be willing to work in client locations for client interactions, implementation and delivery of solutions Qualifications/Experience/Personal Attributes An engineering degree is needed. Masters is a plus. 4+ years of development experience Strong experience with Java based technologies. Strong knowledge of J2EE technologies, MongoDB, Javascript, Tomcat, J2EE design patterns and Spring MVC is a must. Experience working in Linux environment. Capability to write and execute shell scripts. Ability to drive a project and work both independently and in a team.
