Compass Family Services

About Compass Family Services

At Compass Family Services, we’re passionate about helping San Francisco families succeed. Compass was founded in 1914 to support travelers coming to the World's Fair, and in the 100+ years since we have helped many thousands of vulnerable San Franciscans to thrive. Today, our programs provide a broad range of support to families in need, including housing, childcare, mental health services, job search support, and much more. Our core competencies embody the culture of Compass. We are: Accountable, Adaptable, Client-centered, Collaborative, Resourceful, and Committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. Compass’ staff represent the diversity of the Bay Area. We especially encourage applicants whose life experiences help them relate to the challenges that Compass families face. Check out our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging report for information about our recent events and initiatives, as well as the DEIB page on our website. For those who interview with one of our team members, we have prepared a Virtual Interview Guide.
