Community Care provides skilled caregiver & nursing support for seniors & the disabled. We also provide staffing for a variety of large and small care facilities across Greater Victoria. We are seeking a great live-out caregiver. Working with Community Care Work schedule on your mobile device $286 per day after probation From 2 - 6 weeks of paid time off Gloves and other work materials provided Supportive & pragmatic work culture. Documents we will need: BC ID or Driver's License Clear TB test Professional references Other education and certification forms - ACLS, Adv Wound Care, Palliative, etc Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Salary: $286.00 /day Licence: BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry (Preferred) Language: Fluent written & spoken English (Required) Duties: Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands Providing companionship and emotional support Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the client Taking vitals, height, and weight Preparing food and feeding clients Maintaining clients' health equipment Responding to emergency situations Administering medication Transporting client to appointments Assisting clients with rehabilitative exercises Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
