COMPANY OVERVIEW Communitas Supportive Care Society is a faith-based, registered charity providing care in communities across British Columbia to those living with disabilities. As a part of our mission, we provide services ranging from 24-hour residential care to skills-based day programs to respite care for families. We are looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals who possess excellent teamwork skills to join our team. Residential Support workers at Matthew's House support youth and young adults to live successfully in a residential group home setting, implementing the philosophy and values of Communitas. The Residential Support Worker ensures that residents’ physical, emotional, social, educational, and medical needs are being met, with a view towards helping each of the residents grow to their full potential. LOCATION Abbotsford, BC Current Openings: Full Time Here's what you can expect: Shift work schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends. The Residential Support Worker position requires a moderate level of physical fitness. Some lifting/transferring of individuals served and providing personal care required.
