Description We are hiring Assemblers who are interested in working on a “Casual” basis: Hours required to work will vary week to week, from no hours up to 40. Hours of work and work schedule will be determined taking into consideration the following: Current business requirements - if business requirements are such that the services of our casual employees are not required then they would not be scheduled to work for days or weeks at a time. Personal schedules and commitments. Every effort will be made to provide as much advance notice as possible on the working schedule, however, there may be minimal notice provided to casual employees regarding changes to work schedules. Only statutory benefits will apply under this arrangement Position Duties Perform a variety of routine mechanical assembly operations Able to use hand and power tools Required to inspect subassemblies, parts and/or assemblies Requirements High School graduate or equivalent High degree of flexibility with respect to work schedules Good manual dexterity required Must be able to read and follow assembly documentation and operating schedules. Good communication skills Mechanical aptitude necessary Previous Electro-Mechanical assembly an asset
