Why This Role is Important to Us: Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), the Senior Vice President, Human Resources will ensure that the right structure, leadership, culture and talent is in place for the current and next stage of Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA)’s growth. He/she will do this by assessing the current state and then optimizing core HR functions to provide a strong foundation on which to build. The SVP, Human Resources will work collaboratively across all HR functional areas. It is critical that the SVP, Human Resources leverage, coordinate, and derive support from the direct team of specialists to deliver these services. There is a specific need to build out additional capabilities around business partnerships, talent acquisition, performance management, enhanced employee relations and a high functioning, business focused human resources partnerships. This change management will require a strong leader who can build a team to deliver credible solutions. This individual must be able to keep pace with a very fast-moving organization as it continues to grow. Collaboration with the total rewards & HR operations, and talent development & culture leaders will be critical to the success of this role as the HR function aligns its work to the overall business strategy. What You'll Be Doing: Partner closely with the HR leadership team to drive the cultural shifts needed to achieve top priorities. Identify and address opportunities for greater efficiency, agility and standardization that is consistent with CCA’s ambition. Collaborate with the executive leadership team and provide strategic advice on people issues and HR needs. Inspire and lead a team that operates with a sense of urgency, proactively solves problems and embodies a commitment to high-performance. Serve as integrator and connector between organization and brand needs. Lead core HR functions: Continue to build the talent acquisition and HR business partners’ teams and implement improved employee engagement programs; Enhance employee relations function and expertise; Monitor compliance issues and develop plans to respond to issues that arise; Create a road map that enables technology and allows employees to seamlessly have their HR needs met; Shared focus on organization design to allow the company to scale efficiently. Review both quantitative and qualitative HRIS performance reports with senior management and HR governance. Manage a cross-functional team to execute against goals and objectives. Partner with business leaders and the HR leadership team to develop and execute both short- and long-term organizational effectiveness strategies that directly support an effective transition from strategy formulation to achieving results. Communicate and secure broad-based corporate support for the employee relations strategic plan throughout the organization by working closely with senior management, human resources, mid-level management, and all human resource professionals to create an engaged, high performing and diverse workforce. Manage all enterprise-wide HR related compliance programs, such as affirmative action plans, and wage and hourly to be legally compliant and cost effective for the organization. Together with all human resources, help maintain a pulse for the broad employment issues across CCA to anticipate the impact such issues could ultimately have on associate relations as to when they manifest and prepare proactive strategies for addressing such impacts. What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business or Human Resources management preferred. SPHR or other HR certification preferred At least 15 years of senior-level, HR related, operational experience Successfully operated as an integral part of an executive management team, contributing in business areas beyond HR with the senior most leaders. Proven experience implementing and leading HR shared services and/or operations, employee relations and components of total rewards. 10-plus years operating in a fast-growth, customer-focused business. Experience in a highly regarded organization and experience in a fast growth company, with multiple operations is ideal. Passion for brands and customers. Display an understanding and curiosity for the front end of the business and experience leveraging that knowledge when translating strategy to execution. Experience in a consumer business is preferred. Collaborating and Influencing Proactively engage all stakeholders, employees, peers and colleagues in other functions to build a rapport and earn broad-based support for initiatives. Negotiate with a genuine give-and-take approach, where both parties act as true peers and decisions are shared. Spend time identifying all stakeholders necessary, and meet or connect with all of them, neglecting no one, to shape a collective consensus. Identify opportunities to build relationships that will help others achieve their objectives and reach out to those and/or new people
