Inspire, Innovate, Succeed Role Title: Work based assessor in Health and Social Care Location: Deeside Contract Type: Full Time Permanent Salary scale: £25,642 - £28,898 based on a salary assessment and relevant experience Overview of Role As an Assessor in Health and Social Care, your role will consist of assessing, conducting Training Needs Analysis for candidates in the workplace, enrolling students on appropriate courses and providing coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities. You will be responsible for assessing candidate portfolios and presenting completed portfolios for internal verification, you will also monitor the candidate’s progress towards their qualification and give them constructive feedback, helping them to build a portfolio of evidence. Requirements Candidates must possess or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification Must be professionally qualified within a relevant subject to a minimum of Level 5 or equivalent Demonstrate an outgoing and positive personality Self motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills Those who have experience of liaising with managers in industry and commerce and who are confident working directly with external verifiers and awarding bodies will be of distinct advantage.
