We currently have a role available for a Senior Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemist in an automated purification lab setting. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Running the automated purification lab and coordinating with a small team to purify compounds in a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for obtaining final analytical data, running NMR, and drying down samples. Being the point person for troubleshooting issues with instrumentation, software, and programming. Conducting regular troubleshooting sessions with scientists via interactive IM, phone, or in person. Providing critical feedback to improve workflow and chemistry performance and implementation of best practices. Job requirements include, but are not limited to: MS-Chemistry with 5+ years of related industrial experience or PhD-Chemistry with 2+ years related experience. Experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred. Required experience includes Agilent 1100,1200, 1260 infinity, 1290 infinity II HPLC instruments,Triple Quadrupole LC/MS as well as Chemstation, FRACT PAL, and A2Prep software. Computer programming skills preferred. Preferred skills include experience with Hamilton automated liquid handlers, THAR SFC analytical and purification equipment and BIOSERO handlers. Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. They will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
