Skills And Qualifications: Minimum 7 or more years of work experience in AWS and Linux. In depth knowledge of key AWS services like EC2, ECS, EBS, S3, Cloudfront, Security Groups, AWS WAF etc. Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint. Experience in building clusters which meets high security standards. Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to AWS Cloud. Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with key stakeholders in organization. Experience to build scalable production systems (load balancers, Failovers etc.) Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Certification on AWS architecture desirable but not mandatory. Strong skills in RHEL, Centos or Amazon linux. Mentor team to build necessary competency in AWS. Responsibilities: Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads. Understand and document technical requirements. Design and implement a new AWS Cluster architecture which is scalable, flexible, highly available which meets the Fintech industry standards. Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as EC2, S3 etc.) and tools. Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc. Design the AWS network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets. Design the HA / DR strategies. Oversee the build of the environment. Define and execute Migration strategy to move application to newly created clusters. Leverage appropriate AWS services. Write manual/automated test cases as per requirements and execute the same. Communicate test issues in the appropriate level of detail. Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls. Document the architecture neatly and transfer knowledge to the internal team.
