IT Support Technician Based in Walsall, West Midlands Salary circa £21,000 + excellent benefits A Midlands-based integrated services group is currently looking to recruit a IT Technician at their Walsall Head Office. The Role You would be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s technical resources through the delivery of a first-class IT support service to users across the business, whilst also helping to develop internal systems and online resources. Key responsibilities will include… o Diagnose and fix a wide range of software and hardware issues, principally desktop and mobile o Receiving and responding to incoming queries in a timely and professional manner, logging all calls o Looking for areas of improvement and providing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness The Candidate The role will suit an ambitious IT support technician, possibly a recent graduate, with a thorough knowledge of a wide range of systems, applications, interfaces and hardware and some experience in a similar support role. A thorough understanding of PC desktop hardware plus mobile devices will be required, with Microsoft certification desirable but not essential. You will have an enthusiastic personality with a flexible attitude and must be able to demonstrate a real passion for IT. You will be a well organised and flexible individual with strong communication skills and excellent problem solving and analytical ability. Driving license will be required.
