Instructor(s) - Hospitality Employability Skills (Haida Gwaii) Job description and duties Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Haida Gwaii, invites applications for Instructors for courses relating to Hospitality Employability Skills. The appointment will commence March 16, 2020 and end July 24, 2020 (subject to minimum enrolment). Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Instructor Scale. Duties: Teaching, course preparation, evaluation of student work, along with other functions related to instructing the following Hospitality Employability courses: (Please indicate your preferred course(s) in your cover letter.) Goal Setting Time Management Assertiveness & Self Confidence Stress Management Attitude & Business Etiquette Team Work/Team Building Introduction to Computers Microsoft Word and Excel Change Management Resume Writing Interview Skills Sensitivity & Diversity Training Qualifications Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or Office Technology and Provincial Instructor Diploma. Experience demonstrates previous instructional experience teaching Career & Professional Development related courses or experience in career planning.
