Purpose of Role: The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible, in partnership with our distributors, for planning and implementing marketing strategies that support the growth of retail and outlet business, and in some cases. com and wholesale, across selected regions of our Coach International business with a particular focus on travel retail and our global travelling customer. Led by the VP of Marketing and Comms, this position is focused on developing marketing programs that drive awareness, traffic and commercial results for the business. As well as monitoring the tourist patterns and sufficiently planning marketing to target customers at each stage of travel including special projects with travel retail partners. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Marketing to… Strategically plan and oversee the activation of localized marketing initiatives including: traffic driving initiatives, digital communication, retail-theater, in-store collateral & gifting, incentives and promotions Create an annual planning calendar for all marketing and promotional activities to drive trade and brand building initiatives including new product launches, store openings, special events, etc. Build the marketing plan in line with the key global messaging calendar and initiatives whilst developing local opportunities that create key ‘moments’ aligned with global brand vision and strategy Be the brand ambassador for all external partnerships to strategically plan and drive the brand through partner channels Develop comprehensive new store opening plans, including partnership with PR/Press, events, direct mail and digital, partnerships, etc. as well as looking after newly anniversaried doors Monitor store trends in performance KPIs to proactively build into immediate strategic plans Monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness and future plans Manage a team to drive execution and support of strategies Partner cross-functionally to ensure business objectives are being met within all marketing implementation Demonstrate the growth opportunities for the brand within new customer acquisition, awareness, traffic both physical and digital and commercial revenue growth Establish strong working relationships internally to manage overall all partnership activations cross functionally, ultimately through to end delivery Coordinates project needs with cross functional partners both locally and globally Partner with Creative Services partners in NY for any localized needs Travels regularly to key markets in support of brand initiatives and to build and foster relationships with external agencies/partners Ensures execution and brand experience across multiple channels and storytelling is connected, relevant and adds value Manage fully the marketing budget planning rolling into the wider International Marketing budget The accomplished individual will possess… Minimum 5 years of multichannel & trade/retail marketing experience in fast paced, dynamic environment Demonstrated marketing experience and a clear track record of building marketing strategies that drive clear results Creative problem solver with strategic thinking skills and strong business acumen A demonstrable track record for increasing traffic and sales and delivering ROI Experience of working with a global company/brand Experience supporting the European and international markets Experience with travel retail and tourism strategies Extensive experience with specific Chinese social media channels Ability to make prudent decisions under pressure and deadlines Ability to build effective partnerships and interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels Knowledge of the fashion or accessories luxury goods market A balance of both brand and commercial experience dealing with both external and agency partners Fluent Mandarin language, both spoken and written Our Competencies for All Employees Drive for Results: Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully; is constantly and consistently one of the top performers; very bottom-line oriented; steadfastly pushes self and others for results.
