This opportunity is for a Paralegal with prior experience for 3-4 days per week, to provide legal, project and administrative support, contributing to the Legal team’s service delivery. The role is a paid role at $33.34/hr + super. The successful Paralegal will be responsible for: Drafting and preparing legal documents Reviewing and negotiating contracts Conducting research Liaising with stakeholders Assisting with regulatory reform, which includes interpretation of new law and regulatory guidance Assisting with company secretarial duties, such as drafting board papers Assisting with corporate insurance matters and notifications Maintaining registers and file management The successful candidate will be: In the process of completing Law Degree (or looking to complete PLT work experience) Willingness to learn and develop Positive attitude with a high attention to detail Able to take on and complete any task to assist the team Professional and amiable manner Excellent presentation and communication skills Use of discretion and confidentiality when required The role is varied and will provide an excellent opportunity to grow and develop within a financial services organisation, whilst furthering your commercial acumen and legal skills by gaining valuable commercial experience within a financial services firm.
