The City of Cornwall is seeking a candidate for the role of Facilities Supervisor. This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a large portfolio of buildings within the City; develops budgets, Request for Quotation, Tender and Request for Proposal documents related to these facilities; work with outside agencies; and provides leadership/direction to Facilities staff. Our candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive facilities maintenance, operations and project management experience. This individual must possess a Post Secondary degree/diploma in a relevant technical field of study, as well as a professional designation as a Certified Engineering Technician/Technologist, or hold a Red Seal Trade Certification. The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of codes, standards and regulations pertaining to facilities along with strong communication and presentation skills. This leader must have the ability to lead and coach in a unionized department. The City of Cornwall offers a competitive annual salary starting at $72,841.60 and a comprehensive benefits package.
