Your New Career Due to business growth we have an opportunity for a Junior Planner to join our exciting City Chic team. Our Planning team work side by side with the Buying team looking at trend analysis, best sellers, forecasting stock, building bottom up sales plans, replenishment and marketing plans – to name just a few of the tasks in this team! Reporting directly to the Senior Planner and working in a friendly established team, you will utilise your analytical skills and not be afraid to have broad responsibilities and be flexible to get the job done. As a Junior Planner, you will: Help establish new processes and best practices for a new business Setting up new reporting requirements (together with the senior planner) Be the go to person for the delivery schedule ensuring that stock delivery detail is up to date Help quantify a well-balanced range, including reviewing size curves and core lines Review sales at a style and category level to help establish buy quantities and meet store requirements Preparing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting Attend regular meetings to review product & trade performance Prepare & present post seasonal information & quarterly reviews Markdown management to minimise aged inventory Conduct regular store visits to highlight, review and action any opportunities or concerns To be successful you will have solid experience as merchandise assistant in the retail industry, preferably in apparel or an online business. With strong analytical and numerical skills and attention to detail you will have the ability to manage and deliver retail-reporting utilising advanced Excel skills.
