Are you an experienced Supply Planner within a multi-national organisation? Do you have experience of inventory management for 3PL? If the answer is yes - then look no further. Due to a recent acquisition, Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner to join our team based in Folkestone, Kent, on a permanent basis. This role will focus on supply planning of allocated brands for global supply of co-packed items, and requires a flexible proactive approach, and the ability to deal with ambiguous information on multiple items, which can change frequently at short notice. Initially this role will focus on Flawless hair removal devices and be key in the inventory management for 3PL in China. The Supply Planner has specific responsibility for issuing supply plans to copackers, placing replenishment component orders and ensuring these are expedited or delayed as necessary, with all information kept updated on SAP and communicated to key stakeholders throughout the business. Key duties include: Responsibility for the supply planning of co-packed items sourced from China. Liaising with global distributors to gather forecast information. Preparing supply plans, raising purchase orders and following these through with trading partners and co-packers proactively. Minimising obsolescence and maximising customer service, using SAP and other sources of information. Monitoring stock levels vs inventory targets, working proactively with Supply Chain Planning Manger to optimise inventory at 3PL in China. Working with the Project buyers and PMO team to integrate new products into the supply plan in good time. General liaison across the organisation, principally with Customer Fulfilment, Sales, PMO and Marketing. Active participation in monthly Supply meetings, including content preparation and taking meeting minutes. Working to support and reinforce our S&OP process: communicating benefits and achievements to the stakeholders, producing clear action plans and ensuring follow ups take place The ideal candidate will have experience of a similar Supply Planning role within multi-national organisation in a comparable industry including FMCG, Food, Drink or other Consumer Goods. They will have excellent communication skills, able to prepare and present information to internal and external stakeholders at all levels. They will be used to working with clear inventory targets and ideally experience using SAP.
