To proactively and efficiently provide legal and regulatory support to the Chubb regional legal team Business Partners across Consumer Lines & Property & Casualty and to provide support on projects. Key Responsibilities Work closely with and provide support to the Legal Business Partners for Consumer Lines, & Property & Casualty and other legal business stakeholders across EMEA and the Chubb Group To assist, prepare, review, negotiate and finalise legal documentation including drafting and negotiating broker services and distribution agreements, facility agreements, marketing and confidentiality agreements Provide legal support to the legal Business Partners on projects impacting the Chubb Business Work within the Chubb Group and regional risk management framework and framework of policies and ethical and service standards Qualifications Qualifications Legal qualification with entitlement to practice as a solicitor or barrister Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable with managing a large workload under time constraints Sound knowledge of law and legal system Strong organisational skills Familiar with electronic document management and filing system Superior research skills Good interpersonal skills High level of discretion with confidential matters Detail-oriented A good level of computer Skills Languages English – Fluent (written and spoken) Working knowledge of a European language an advantage, but not a strict requirement Experience This role is suitable for a 5 year plus PQE qualified lawyer with some insurance experience An understanding of the insurance industry preferably with a particular focus on Consumer Lines and/or Property & Casualty business, including sales and distribution models. The role requires the candidate to be able to manage competing priorities in a very busy and high pressured environment. Good time management and organisation skills also required. Strong inter-personnel skills and be skilled at communicating legal and regulatory issues to internal clients in a firm but professional manner.
