Best Western Chilworth Manor is recruiting for an Operations Manager to join the hotel senior management team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for providing hands on support to the heads of department across front of house, food and beverage, housekeeping and leisure. Chilworth Manor is a 97 bedroom property located on the outskirts of Southampton in 12 acres of gardens. The hotel is a popular wedding venue and hosts conferences, meetings and events throughout the year. Food and Beverage is at the heart of the hotel and the main hotel restaurant, bar and reception are currently undergoing refurbishment, due for completion at the end of March. The Operations Manager will play a key role in the relaunch and repositioning of these outlets. To be successful in this position you will be a hands on manager with experience of managing various departments with strong leadership skills. You will support across the departments with health and safety, stock take reporting and monitoring, recruitment, training and development.
