Role Players – Temporary Position **Resumes being collected for possible future openings. Offers contingent upon contract award.** Position Description Role Players are to perform in military training exercises to create realistic conditions that replicate the challenges of cultural differences, social nuances, language barriers, and complexity of global operational environments. Training events require realistic soldier interaction with appropriate role player’s representative of the indigenous population of Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Eastern Europe or other designated areas. Role players participate during various Situational Training Exercises and other Collective Training events to replicate mission scenarios. Role players provide the essential training experience to Soldiers preparing for combat operation in varying conditions. Conditions may vary from coordinating an opportunity to meet with local leaders, setting up a time to provide medical support to local children, assessing the attitudes of the population in a certain area, de-escalating a situation by communicating properly with local religious leaders, or redirecting both combatants and non-combatants during offensive operations. Work Environment Work must be performed under possible weather conditions such as snow, sleet, rain, heat, etc. Requirements/Qualifications · Ability to perform to a desired role, including wearing required attire. · Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. · Ability to speak the appropriate language if assigned a speaking role · Ability to work during long periods of standing/sitting/other physical activity. · Ability to identify indicators of and react to an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). · Ability to move as a team. · Ability to move/lift 15 pounds. · Ability to work in an environment with varying levels of noise. · Ability to work for up to 12 hours. · Must be able to pass a background check. · Must be able to pass a substance abuse test. · Must be authorized to work in the United States.
