The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget. The part time computer technician performs routine computer troubleshooting and repair. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, computer repair, installation, configuration, imaging, assembly of computers, monitors and other peripherals, pull/rewire cables as needed for new installations, troubleshooting and make repairs as needed, and serve as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment, data, and applications. The technician is expected to undertake general tasks which will promote seamless use of IT infrastructure in a public school environment. The technician also assists in bringing broken equipment back to a central location for repair, making repairs on said equipment, and delivering it back to schools for use. The technician is also expected to interact with both students and teachers to help them with any technology issues they run into.
