CashKaro.com is looking for an Automation Engineer in the Engineering team who can lead our web scraping efforts. They will be dealing with a large amount of data. Also they will be writing and maintaining web crawlers/scripts that deliver data around various product pipelines. Responsibilities Develop programs to extract data from websites and APIs Manipulate data and save it in a logical, organized manner Analyze data to drive better business decisions Understand project requirements and create custom scripts as per needs Multitask with multiple projects and bug fixes Write clean, maintainable and efficient code Skills Strong coding experience in Python. Prior exposure to DOM, XPATH and selenium/automated testing. Good understanding with Excel pivot tables and advanced Excel is a plus. Knowledge of File Handling, Iterators, OS module and automation in Python is a must. Experience with XML, JSON, etc. Add on Skills Experience with text processing, SQL and NoSQL databases Basics of databases.
