Reporting to the CEO, this role is based in Riyadh. The key responsibilities of this role will be to: Conduct research on regional and international tourism products and services being offered, and analyse market movements and changes in the industry to inform the production of new products adapted to the project. Support new concepts and offerings ideation, nurturing and encouraging innovation and creativity, supported by market research and relevant benchmarks. Conceptualise tourism products and create commercial offerings that will involve sport, conferences, adventure, entertainment, culture, etc. Implement the conceptualised tourism products in coordination with the relevant departments, agencies and businesses, while ensuring that tourism standards are met. Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in product development and management, ensuring that the project is at the front of innovation, in each target market. Implement both soft and hard product: Soft products such as developing experiences and activations around historical sites, cultural emergence, trail hikes, Bedouin lunch, honey hunting, falconry, etc. Hard products could be developing hiking trails, zip lines, adventure park etc. This is from ideation to implementation. The successful candidate will possess the following qualities; Degree or equivalent; Currently having close relationship with DMCs and involved in DMC and tourism product development. Currently holding exactly the same position or engaged on the exact same key responsibilities expected under this assignment, Track record of working across multiple geographies, or other international experience on a director level; Deep knowledge of the tourism industry within the EMEA region; Proven and demonstrable experience of defining and executing product and business development in tourism industry on national and international scales; Proven ability to work well under pressure; Excellent managerial skills.
