Our mission is to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community. We operate from locations in NSW, northern WA and the Top End of the Northern Territory. Our specially trained doctors, nurses and paramedics use helicopters, aeroplanes, medi-jets and road ambulances to bring a hospital level of care to over 5,000 patients each year. We also deploy health professionals to remote oil, gas and mining sites, both onshore and offshore. The role We currently have an excellent opportunity for a part-time Human Resources Coordinator in Darwin. Working with the human resources team you will provide: generalist human resources support to CareFlight’s business units and administrative support to HR processes, procedures and systems; coordinate and participate in end-to-end recruitment and selection processes; drafting employment contracts and a range of other employment related correspondence; and excellent client service, candidate care and make a positive contribution to the organisation’s culture. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: tertiary qualifications, preferably in Human Resources Management or similar (or currently studying); approximately three years generalist Human Resources experience; intermediate to advanced level skills in Word and Excel (including mail merge skills); a good understanding of Human Resources systems, processes and procedures; sound judgement and the ability to work well with people at all levels, maintain confidentiality and develop effective working relationships with others; excellent communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail; an awareness and working knowledge of employment related legislation; the willingness and ability to handle a busy workload to deadlines and work reasonable additional hours in order to get the job done; and flexibility to be able to work from CareFlight’s other locations as required. The following will be highly regarded: Previous experience using HR information systems. Previous exposure to recruitment and selection processes and practices.
