The Manager of IT and Hosting Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Vizag Operations team covering cross domain technologies for Windows and Linux Systems, Network, Site Reliability Engineering, Production Application Support, and DBA team members. The position must monitor and maintain systems that these teams oversee, conduct planning meetings, assist employees with problem solving and provide expertise to keep IT and Hosting services running over the network at all Cardlytics sites. This position will also coordinate, execute and monitor multiple IT projects from planning to implementation phases with director supervision. This is a hands on role, and will require technical expertise as well as management and leadership abilities. An ideal candidate will be proficient in both implementing and maintaining various technologies, and able to train the team members as well. This leader will report directly to the U.S. Senior Director of Hosting and IT Operations. Job Responsibilities Has responsibility for Vizag Operations team working on IT and Hosting operations functions at Cardlytics. Leads and mentors Vizag Operations team members. Takes responsibility for the success of the Vizag Operations team issues and projects Ensures IT and Hosting policies and procedures are followed per US standards. Ensures IT and Hosting problems are identified, documented and resolved per customer SLAs. Responsible for communicating to Cardlytics leadership on status and issue updates. Identify areas of improvement for process and monitoring. Writes, maintains, and reviews complete and concise technical and project documentation Prepares and presents training presentations on multiple technical levels Write goals and objectives for team members based on overall IT strategy. Soft Skills Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently on projects and daily activities. Demonstrated project management skills. Must be proficient at managing technical projects Excellent team building skills and be proficient in establishing and maintaining effective communication and processes Thorough knowledge of Microsoft software, both server and desktop. Must be able to work with front line engineers to resolve problems with said platforms Experience in managing projects in an IT network environment that includes Engineering, Operations, Security Writes, maintains, and reviews complete and concise technical and project documentation Presents training presentations on multiple technical levels Write goals and objectives for team members Technology Skills Minimum 3 years' experience leading a technical team. Minimum of 7 years' experience in configuration and troubleshooting of server hardware, databases, network, and storage systems Minimum of 5 years' experience with Microsoft server networking, permissions, security, and active directory Minimum of 5 years' experience with the services like databases, data backup, anti-virus, streaming technologies Minimum of 5 years' experience with sever and virtualization technologies Minimum of 5 years' experience installing, troubleshooting Microsoft server operating system platforms Minimum of 5 years' experience Linux administration, configurations, and support Minimum of 5 years' experience AWS administration, configurations, and support Experience with monitoring tools like Data Dog, Sumo Logic, SQL sentry, etc. is a plus
