RESPONSIBILITIES + DUTIES THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING CLOSELY WITH CLIENTS AND THE ACCOUNTING TEAM AND: PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL END-TO-END BOOKKEEPING SERVICES SET UP NEW CLIENTS + MANAGE THE TRANSFER OF EXISTING CLIENTS TO CLOUD ACCOUNTING PLATFORMS BOOKKEEP CLIENTS’ SOFTWARE PROGRAMS +/OR LEDGERS WHILE UNDERSTANDING BASIC ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE LODGE BUSINESS/INCOME ACTIVITY STATEMENTS [BAS/IAS] CALCULATE GST + IDENTIFY GST ISSUES PREPARE WAGES, SUPERANNUATION, + CALCULATE PAYGW LODGE WORKCOVER DECLARATIONS QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS MINIMUM THREE YEARS PREVIOUS BOOKKEEPING EXPERIENCE EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNICATION + CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS EXPERIENCE DOING END-TO-END BOOKKEEPING TASKS INCLUDING DATA ENTRY, RECONCILIATIONS, ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE + ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGEMENT BAS AGENT OR PREPARED TO BECOME A BAS AGENT WHILE WORKING FOR US ONLY APPLICANTS WITH A COVER LETTER + RESUME WILL BE CONSIDERED Job Type: Part-time Benefits: Health and wellness programs Staff / corporate discounts Flexible work arrangements Training and professional development assistance Study leave
